Overview
The Communications Committee was established for the purpose of improving and maintaining communications to all Homeowners in IronOaks by providing input to the Board and General Manager regarding the policies and methods of communication of official HOA information in order to assure that it is timely, complete and accurate. Also, to work closely with the Director of Communication, providing input to assure the quality and format of all communications to and from Homeowners meet the standards of the community.
The Committee is composed of literally all aspects of communication. There are current sub-committees include:
● Concierge/Welcome: Meet and welcome new residents
● Community Liaison: The flow of information about what’s happening in our community, including activities, events and news to organizations and groups outside IronOaks.
● Website: IronOaks has both an internal and an external website. The internal is primarily information-based for Homeowners, while the external website aim is to introduce our beautiful community to potential Homeowners. Feedback from users and suggestions are vital to maintaining an attractive and good website. The Stay In The Loop is an email system that delivers current information directly to Homeowners.
● Document Management: A very important function that includes such activities as the development of format standards, proofing and version control.
● Newsletter: Prepares and distributes Stay In The Loop News.
● Community Feedback: Keeping track of the pulse of the community.
