Risk Management Committee

Overview

The responsibility of the Risk Management Committee is to assess the risks of loss to IronOaks assets, and to recommend to the Board of Directors the most reasonable way to protect such assets by eliminating, modifying, insuring or assuming such risks. The assets included in the Association portfolio include cash, buildings, equipment, gates and the greenbelt areas.

 

Homeowners with background or experience in the following areas can play a role in helping the Committee fulfill its responsibilities:

 

         ●   Insurance operations

                Underwriting and risk selection, or marketing, including:

                   ♦   Automobile

                        ♦    Property & liability

                        ♦   Workers’ compensation

                        ♦   Employee benefits

               ○ Claims handling or adjusting in any line of business

 

         ●   Loss Control & Risk Management

               ○ Building protection systems & procedures

               ○ Loss prevention

               ○ Occupational safety and health

               ○ Risk assessment practices & procedures
