MESSAGE FROM PATROL DIRECTOR
Golf carts continue to be a problem in the community. It seems to be an unwritten Rule that STOP signs are not made for golf carts. Many homeowners have complained that they were almost in an accident when a cart came running through a STOP sign. Drivers of Golf carts must be aware of the danger of being in an accident; no seat belts, no doors, very little brakes, no protection from impact. Invariably, when there is an accident involving a golf cart, the driver ends up in the hospital. Please be more careful when you are driving your golf carts. This is also a Rules violation and you can be cited by the Patrol and fined.
